Chicken Teriyaki Stir-Fry

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions:

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add chicken slices and cook until no longer pink.
  4. Toss in mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 5–7 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Mix soy sauce and honey in a small bowl and pour over the chicken and vegetables. Stir to coat evenly.
  6. Cook for an additional 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Serve immediately over a bed of cooked rice, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.

Tips:

  • Substitute chicken with tofu for a vegetarian version.
  • Adjust the honey and soy sauce ratio for sweetness or saltiness preferences.
