Cinnamon Apple Oatmeal

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups milk or water
  • 1 apple, diced
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar or honey
  • A pinch of salt
  • Optional toppings: nuts, raisins, or chia seeds

Instructions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine oats, milk (or water), diced apple, cinnamon, and salt.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the oats are tender and the mixture thickens, about 8–10 minutes.
  3. Add brown sugar or honey and stir to combine.
  4. Remove from heat and let sit for 1–2 minutes.
  5. Serve in bowls with optional toppings like nuts, raisins, or chia seeds.

Tips:

  • Use different fruits such as pears or berries for variety.
  • For creamier oatmeal, use half milk and half water.
