Ingredients:
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions, then drain.
- In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Drain excess fat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese and half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer noodles, cheese mixture, beef, and sauce. Repeat until ingredients are used up, finishing with a layer of sauce and remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
