Creamy Chicken Alfredo

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Cook fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add chicken slices and cook until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  4. Pour heavy cream into the same pan, bringing it to a gentle simmer.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens and becomes creamy.
  6. Add chicken and pasta back into the skillet, tossing until fully coated.
  7. Season with salt and pepper, then garnish with parsley before serving.

Tips:

  • Add sautéed mushrooms or spinach for extra texture.
  • For a lighter sauce, substitute cream with milk and a spoon of cream cheese.
